Lovely Resort 2011 by Stella McCartney

On 8th June 2010, Stella McCartney showed in New York City her latest work, the Resort 2011. The feature of this event is that this collection was not presented on a catwalk but at a party where the models, the crush of editors, retailers and guests were all together, enjoying the warm evening in the open air and dancing along. This is wonderful idea, so dynamic!

The party was held at the Gavin Brown's Enterprise (NYC) and also many friends of Stella McCartney took part in it, like Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Watts and Kate Hudson. Stella had a casual wear, blue blazer and jeans (in general the blue is one of the most elegant color matching with the jeans). Gwyneth Paltrow was enchanting with a minimal and linear outfit, one of the most successful styles for her. I also like very much the outfit of Filipa Fino, the Vogue US Accessory Director, especially her bag and her classic flat shoes.

Stella McCartney said, about her collection: "I love early spring; everything is alive again and growing. I think the clothes reflect that!". She is right, really the spring's emotions have inspired her very well! The bags are beautiful and, concerning the clothes, excel blue, coral, beige, white that paint bon-ton blazes and dresses.
